Drilling Process
- Initiating Drilling: The drill is introduced into the ground, and the drilling process begins by removing the soft layers of earth.
- Percussion Rotary Drilling: When the drilling tool encounters hard rock layers, the percussion feature is activated. The impacts help in breaking the rocks, while the rotary motion removes the broken fragments to the surface.
- Circulation of Drilling Fluid: During drilling, a special drilling fluid is used, which helps in removing the cuttings from the bottom of the hole, cooling and lubricating the drilling tool, and stabilizing the walls of the well.
- Securing the Well: After reaching the desired depth, the well is secured with casing pipes to prevent collapse and water contamination.
